I combined and modified editor_adp's "clang 2" and "clang 4" into something more impactful. I use it on youtube, and since it was from the public domain, i thought i should give it back.

Compressed and limited, maximal appereance of the kick by giving enough space for other instruments. Also can handle a subbass (+/- sidechaincomp) easily , because of the depth.

Just giving something back as i have been using posts here. No idea if this will be of use but its an old car in a rural environment. When the car is leaned on the rusty springs groan while forest birds are chirpy in the background.

I recorded this a ways back on a cassette recorder and i tried to remove as much hiss as i could with sony's 'sound forge' but i think the hiss kinda gives it an old time vinyl sound. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

Production process: sound generated from kick synth; signal splitted in two bands; high band signal filtered, distorted and panned (this gives nice roughness and makes kick sound pretty good with center panned bassline); low band signal equalized with some re-verb; both bands mixed back together.

I made this using an alto recorder and then adding reverb to it. I have made it longer or shorter by just adding or taking away pieces in the middle. It was made to convey a sense of foreboding. Been downloading off this site for ages and thought i'd give something i recorded back. I drank from a glass bottle by a mic to recreate a character in a film drinking some beer from a glass bottle. A small sound but in those quiet scenes i think noises like this make all the difference. Done on my olympus dm5 recorder that i use for last minute foley. Hooray i'm finally on here!.
